How to Choose the Right Package
Four questions that determine the right tier for most couples:
1. Are you bringing any guests?
If it's just the two of you → Just for Two (complimentary if 7-night qualifying stay). If you're bringing 2–10 guests → Intimate Elegance (potentially complimentary with 25 room nights). Beyond 10 guests → Lavish & Opulent or higher.
2. Do you want a private reception with dinner?
The first package tier to include a private cocktail hour and private reception dinner is Lavish & Opulent. Intimate Elegance only includes a romantic dinner for two — not a group reception. If your wedding vision includes a seated dinner for your guests, Lavish is the minimum.
3. Do you want DJ, dancing, and fireworks?
DJ + dance floor + fireworks only appear in the top-tier packages (Zama at Jamaica, Ultimate Elegance at Puerto Vallarta, Zama Signature at Cancun). If an evening reception with dancing and a fireworks moment is non-negotiable, you need the top tier — or add these elements à la carte to a lower tier for additional cost.
4. Do you want professional photographer and videographer included?
Photo and video coverage is included starting at the Luxury tier at Cap Cana properties, and the top tier at Jamaica (Zama includes it as part of the Luxury-tier inclusions). At Puerto Vallarta, it's included in the Ultimate Elegance. If you want resort-provided photo/video rather than an outside vendor, you need Luxury/top-tier or above. Many couples bring their own photographer and use a mid-tier package instead.
