Why Secrets Resorts for a Destination Wedding
Secrets Resorts & Spas is the adults-only, Unlimited-Luxury® sister brand to Dreams Resorts — the same Hyatt Inclusive Collection quality standards, the same no-reservation-required dining and premium beverage service, but exclusively for guests 18 and over throughout every pool, restaurant, bar, and venue. For couples whose wedding guest list is entirely adult, Secrets delivers the quieter, more sophisticated atmosphere that's structurally impossible at a family-friendly property.
The wedding package system is straightforward: three named tiers — Wedding in Paradise (complimentary with a qualifying stay), Secrets of Love, and Secrets Ultimate — consistent across all Secrets properties in Mexico and Jamaica. Every property has an on-site wedding coordinator, and the same ceremony types are available at all locations: symbolic, legal civil, same-sex, multicultural, and vow renewal.
All Three Secrets Wedding Packages (2026)
The entry-level package — complimentary when the couple books at least 7 nights in a qualifying room category, or when 5 or more rooms (any category) are booked for a minimum of 3 nights. Also available for vow renewals under the same qualifying conditions. This is a real ceremony package — not just a venue reservation. See inclusions below.

Important: Wedding in Paradise covers a symbolic ceremony only — legal civil ceremonies require additional coordination and fees. Cannot be combined with the Secrets Eternity Honeymoon Package for both to be received complimentary in the same stay. Minister/judge fees for legal ceremony are charged separately regardless of package tier. Minimum 30 days advance booking required for all weddings. Subject to blackout dates.
The mid-tier package — upgrades the Wedding in Paradise base with a 3-hour private dinner reception for up to 20 guests, ceremony photography, wedding party flowers, and Vera Wang toasting flutes. Minister/judge fees included. The most common package for couples wanting a complete ceremony-plus-dinner experience without the full production of the Secrets Ultimate tier.

The flagship package — adds live entertainment during the cocktail hour, full ceremony décor setup, video coverage of the ceremony, and a couples spa treatment. Upgrades the reception menu from Silver to Gold. The highest-production option in the standard Secrets package lineup.

The Complimentary Wedding in Paradise — How It Works
The Secrets complimentary package qualification is more flexible than RIU's — it triggers in one of two ways, whichever the couple meets first:
Option 1 — Qualifying Stay
The couple books at least 7 nights in a qualifying room category (Junior Suite or above at most properties). No minimum group room count required — just the couple's own stay qualifies.
Option 2 — Group Room Block
At least 5 rooms (any category) booked for a minimum of 3 nights. The most common qualification path for wedding groups bringing 10+ guests.

Secrets Group Benefits for Wedding Groups
A group booking of 10+ rooms with a minimum 3-night stay unlocks the Secrets group benefit tier at any property. Maximum 3 complimentary rooms and 2 upgrades per group across the portfolio.
