Legal Ceremony Abroad
Performed by a local civil judge with required documents such as birth certificates and apostilled paperwork. Mexico recognizes same-sex civil marriage nationwide, so a legal ceremony is available to all couples there.
Symbolic Ceremony
No legal paperwork abroad — couples marry legally at home before or after the trip. It's the simplest route, offers the most freedom in format, and is the usual path for same-sex couples in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.
